Bird vs Jordan

I am a huge Celtic fan and Bird and Havlicek are/were my favorite players. Both are highly regarded and I assume in the top 25 of all-time players.
Interesting to me, the 1988 Fleer set, has 12 or so All-Star cards at the end of the set.

Jordan POP 10 384
The jordan sells for around 6k in psa 10, the Bird sells for around $250 in psa 10. While most people think Jordan was a better than Bird and I believe he was too (but not by a huge amount), the difference in price is astonishing to me. I think we can throw Magic into this conversation also. The price difference between Jordan vs bird/magic is just off the charts. I watched all three play a ton. ANd all three were terrific players. Very fun to watch.
Just kind of mind boggling to me. Just an FYI for you.

I think this is somewhat a player registry issue; Jordan’s is more of a flex and Bird’s is more for fans.
I, too, am a Larry Bird fan and collector. One of my personal faves is this alternate rookie:

The Jordan pricing phenomenon went sky high during the COVID and post-COVID run-up. Many of the increases in his card values can be traced to specific periods of time in history when massive amounts of attention were being paid to his cards. Then dollar bills. I don't believe Bird or Magic or anyone else has achieved the same type of value premiums on their cards that Jordan has.
Farewell Ozzy.
No chance.
Never have had any difficulty selling any Jordan cards. Always received a fair buying price.
