GTG, I know obverse only:
I posted this as I guess pride of ownership made me think my previously posted coin underrated. But you guys are the experts!

VF Details coin looks too bright.

Could be camera glare.
Looks straight grade to me: 25 or 30.

I agree with the above sentiment, but the coin graded AU50. I just can not see that whatsoever.

Here is the other raw coin, so not graded:

Whoa AU-50 seems like a stretch, but I'm not an expert. Wonder as to their reasoning behind the piece?

Bonus points for the scratch?😉
But I agree it seems a stretch, even if the reverse is amazing.
I bought this one as a “nice Fine” for $250 some years ago. Seems like a bargain nowadays:
It has AU sharpness, but it's also got some long scratches which I don't like. There is one on Ms. Libtery's forehead and a long one that runs from the left field to the 12th star.
I know some people think that this coin is VF because of the detail, but you can't approach the 1806 and '07 haves the same way you do the earlier years. The dies were shallower which resulted in less deep detail. That probably prolonged the life of the dies, but it also resulted in less detail.
This 1806 is graded AU-58. David Akers graded it AU-50 back in the mid 1970s in one of his Paramount auctions. That's where I bought it 50 years ago for $1,000 which was too much money then.
