Well folks, that's a wrap!

The time has come to permanently exit our fine hobby. We are all familiar with the many reasons for doing so - in my case no heirs. I've tried this once of twice in the past and it didn't take, probably because I was too young but I'm one of those old guys now and I want to do this while all of my senses are still tip-top.
For those of you who know me, my collection is mainly Canadian and the provinces, with a smattering of U.S. The U.S. portion of the collection was consigned to GFRC and all but 3 pieces have sold already. Although I have not made a final decision I am leaning toward Great Collections for the certified part of the collection and a local brick and mortar for the raw portion. I may post a few things on the BST if I sense that there is any interest.
It has been fun and engaging and I'm going to miss the thrill of the hunt. I'll still be looking for rarities but now it will be birds instead of coins. I'm looking forward to getting out into the field and seeing what's out there!

Good luck with your future endeavors. Of course, you realize coins will always still be here and we will be here waiting for you.

Hope all goes well and don’t be a stranger…while looking for uncommon birds you can still look for birds on uncommon coins.
