Congratulations. Good that those four are certified. In 60+ years of collecting I have never owned the key date indians. May just buy some low grade CAC coins at FUN.
Coingratulations !

I have to thank @MICHAELDIXON who sold me the bones of the set. I just did some updating and buying the keys.

Congrats!! That's one set that I never completed... I came within one coin... 1877... at one point before selling that set to concentrate on my 7070. I was just gifted my brother's set... so, I'm now three coins away... 1869, 1877, and 1909-S.

Congratulations on your recent accomplishment Don. That’s a nice set to complete and own. Love those IHC’s. I am also working on building a set of them. Zack.
So here 's the big question, crack to put in your album or keep in the slab???
I know what thrill it was to complete my Indian cent set back in the late 1960s. I think that the last coin was the 1869. In those days, people thought that there was in 1869 over 8, and it brought a big premium. Now it's just a 69 over 69, and it's not much more money than the plain one.
I did the set over again last year when I started my one cent from every year from 1793 to date set. I tried to get as many raw coins as I could in EF and AU, (shout out to @penny lady) but I had to give in and buy some Mint State coins. My patience is not what it used to be. I didn't mess around with the 1877. I bought a certified EF-45. I already had the 1908-S and 1909-S, and all but one of the coins from 1857 to 1865. My last piece was the 1858 large letters flyer. I don't plan on getting an 1869 over 69.
Here's the inside of the album. I put tokens in the spaces where I have certified coins. And, no, I'm cracking any coins out to go in the album.
All the certified coins are, or will be, cracked out.

Always a great feeling to complete a set. That is one wholesome Indian. Album collecting has served as the backbone of our hobby. A real collector coin!
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍
