Pillar Mexico 8 Reales overdate?

It's definitely a 4/3, but is it also 0/something? Or is that just chatter in the last digit? Thoughts?

    The chatter kind of looks like the tail of a 9 below the 0 to me, but doesn't seem definitive.

    It's a tough one. We know it's likely a reworked 3(something) die, but i'm also leaning towards not definitive.

    Looks to be an decent coin. I suspect it vary well could be an overdate and there could be varying die states

    Having mastered and owned most varieties in the portrait series, are you doing Pillars now?

    Still having too much fun with Portraits. This one was a random pick-up because of a missed variety attribution and an older holder and will likely get label updated and resold sometime in the future.

    Yeah, watch out Roman. I only pursued the Carolus III pillar 8's and there were lots of overdates in the standard references.
