Oddballs for Type Set

I can't stop adding new things to my type set (all PCGS). Just started blank planchets. I currently have two non-PCGS slabbed coins (SEGS 1938 Jefferson Nickel Winning Design from 2002 and an ICG 1944 Henning Jefferson Nickel) and looking to add a 1883 Liberty V "Racketeer" Nickel. I can only find an ICG marked "Racketeer" which works. How do they know it's genuine?

They don’t, but if it has a finely reeded edge, that’s a big plus. It also should have at least AU sharpness.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible.
