If you missed the first part of the 'Important to me' story check this link out here.

Here is another coin that I have purchased that is not expensive, yet has meaning. Continuing on from the end of the previous story, back in November my Grandfather passed away. When I was in Richmond, Virginia for the funeral, I for fun decided to check out what some coin shops in the area had, and I came across this coin raw. Now, to me it seemed super original and had strong luster, but the most important meaning behind this coin is that I got a piece of Virginia history in honor of my grandfather. I sent the coin off to PCGS and it came back a couple weeks ago, however I kept putting off posting this, so here we are now! The grade will be revealed after 24 hours. I am excited to have this coin in my box of 20, especially with the meaning it has to me.

Note: Reverse has die polish lines, those are not scratches. I have also attached some raw shots I took prior to the sub to show the surfaces.

Very nice, 64, as the skirt surface is holding me back. IMO. Peace Roy

65 — What looks like haze in the first set of photos hopefully looks better in person.

Accepting that those are Die Polish lines, I'm thinking that has to be a 66, at least.

Thank you all for the guesses. PCGS called this a 64.

I would have said 65+. After grade was named, I looked at the cheek and perhaps when rotated more scratches are visible. Hard for me to tell with toning haze. Still gorgeous.
