So, this guy Guttenberg owns a card store loaded with valuable merchandise, yet has no way to detect if a person with a loaded weapon in his waistband has entered the store. Ohhhhhh K.

    Farewell Ryno.

I’ve been to Bullpen HQ, one of the nicer stores in SoCal.

If you read the article, the store wasn’t robbed. The meth heads sold him some cards that were stolen so Guttenberg called the cops and they arrested the meth heads. They found the $500K in cards in their car.

The question now is where did they steal the $500K of stuff. I’m in the SoCal hobby scene and haven’t heard of any local card robberies lately.

Article mentions that it likely came from the theft of a storage unit last month.

This why more needed to be educated on crack and resubmit.

PSA can offer a PSA to help out all those not knowledgeable thieves.

Lesson 1: never ship 7 figs in cards to a Best Western

Lession 2: never attempt to personally sell stolen slabbed cards at a local shop or show.

Lesson 3: What type of screwdrivers are best to crack open a slab and when to emply a Channellock 356

Lesson 4: How to submit raw cards to PSA.

What exactly IS the SoCal hobby scene? I doubt this information would have been getting passed around until Mr. Guttenberg himself recognized the two perps and alerted law enforcement because they were foolish enough to return to his store. Seems to me he helped get a couple members of a more organized crime ring off the streets for at least a little while. He's somewhat fortunate, I think, that he wasn't victimized and physically harmed before the cops arrived.

    Farewell Ryno.

SoCal is the home of many breakers, "influencers" if you will and the big guys Burbank. Also happens to be the home of PSA.

But yeah, glad these fools got caught. I thought they may have came from that Texas show robbery.

The criminals involved were hardly influencers, though they may have been under the influence.

    Farewell Ryno.
