1810 Large Cent grading Question

In your opinion, does this 1810 large cent grade... I know it's details but
Good Details?
VG details?
Fine details?
This coin is the topic of our Friday night beer drinking session.
Thanks

I'll go with VG(10) details.
Edited to add: I did consider it as a F12.

IMHO I would put it at right about F-12 to F-15 details.

Thanks for your opinions. It's a nicer 1810 then I'm used to, even with the issues

F12 deets.
I was thinking Fine, but I just purchased a straight graded 1811 in VF-25 which didn’t have a lot more detail. What I liked about the coin was that the surfaces were “hard” (not porous) and super smooth. The coin also did cost an arm and leg. Regardless of the date, the prices on these coins go up very fast as the grades get higher. I paid $6,500 for a super nice 1812 in AU-58. One graded MS-62 just brought over $12,000.
Having now collected this series as part of my “one cent per year” collection, I can tell you that it’s hard to find these coins in holders with straight grades. Many of the have the “details” label.
Six months in olive oil and you may have a better-looking coin.
Smitten with DBLCs.
Here's the best one I have.
This is graded EF-40
My 1810 is also graded EF-40, but it has some issues I should have caught.
Here are some of mine that I submitted that came back with straight grades:
I think this was F15, but I can’t find it right now.

This one graded VG10, I think the late die state/weak obverse pulled it down. This date and the 1811 are difficult to find with the “hard surfaces” that Bill mentioned:

This one graded F12; in this case the reverse is weak as is typical, but didn’t pull down the grade:

12, but depends on how many beers.
F details for sure

I'm in the F12 details crowd...

Question: For those saying details, what would be the reason given for the designation? Environmental, corrosion, damage, etc. A novice cent collector here.
It will be "environmental damge." The pitting is from corrosion.
Here are the other Classic Head large cents I have.
1808 This one is graded EF-40. The reverse die is badly broken on this piece, which causes the obverse to look weak. The first star disappears on this vareity in the terminal die state.
1814 This is graded AU-58. It's not as good as the 1812 because of the mark in the obverse field.
I have an 1811 coming that is graded VF-25.
I know that the 1809 is going to be a bear to find. I might end up buying a raw one that won't grade, like this 1796 cent which has lots of "meat" but too many marks. It came from an EAC specialist dealer. You can sink a ton of money into a graded 1796 cent and still not have much.
Here's one I wish I still had. The grading services body bagged it many years ago for no good reason.
@BillJones, I’m almost certain that 1814 is currently up for auction at Heritage, or one very similar. I was just looking at the auction last night.
If you submitted it to auction then disregard. I assumed you sold it off awhile back.
I sold it more than ten years ago. It was in an ANACS “soap bar” holder when I sold it. I sent there after one of the majors, I forget which, body bagged for “artificial toning,” which was a crock.
I looked up their 1814 cent offerings. Everyone is a “details” grade piece.
I’ve submitted a good number of large cents. I’ve only gotten two Genny’s, but the grades I get back in general are lower than expected…and I look at a LOT of large cents. Inconsistency seems to be the game.
@BillJones
Your 1812 is beautiful.
Details grade
Fine details
The top one has very nice eye appeal. I'm surprised it only got an EF grade.

The top one an AU-58. It’s easily there, CAC or no CAC.
