First time PCGS submitter, what do I expect while in the grading phase?

in Q & A Forum
Super nervous as you all can imagine, does that necessarily mean a good thing does that mean it is legitimate and can I watch the grade be given or something along those lines? I’m sorry I’m just very curious about this process!
thanks guys!

No need to ask, because you should not be submitting any coins; you're not ready, based on your earlier thread:

If you've gone ahead and submitted coins and they are in the grading stage, it most likely means you are about to receive bad news.
Depends what you mean by "legit". If you mean a genuine proof Peace dollar, no way. On the other hand, If you just mean a genuine coin, there is a good chance of that. That being said, if you submit a circulated 1922 Peace dollar worth melt (such as the coin in your previous thread), you've already spent more than the value of the coin on fees/shipping/insurance for the submission. Most people would consider that bad news.
For standard and economy the wait is not quick: https://www.pcgs.com/statistics
Anacs and Icg are alternatives, cheaper and faster.
