Question about coin inside a ring

My aunt was helping and elderly friend clean out few things to get rid of stuff do to his wife is in hospice care and they found a ring that looks like a size of a dime with front being the walking liberty of a half dollar and the reverse being the reverse of the draped bust half dollar the year on it is 2000.... the elderly man was wanting to know more about the ring and if it would be worth anything ??? They asked me about it and I can't answer those questions so can you help me out here.

So that is where it was made from
It is a smaller sized copy of an American Silver Eagle. I'd say it's with the scrap value. It is not a real coin.
It looks like a tenth ounce silver round in imitation of an ASE. Woth melt assuming it's actually silver.

It's jewelry now. Keep/sell it as is.
I found this one in a pawn shop years ago. Paid melt for it.
