There is a belief these will almost be non-existent in a few weeks. It remains to be seen, aye or nay. It’s gambling.

    These are no longer minted.

I know that no longer minting them is being discussed. Has anyone checked the overhead tour at the Philly or Denver mints? Artazn in Greene County in Tennessee is NOT talking about this as a fait accompli. They are still, for now, creating and shipping cent blanks to Philly and Denver. They are under contract to supply them. When does the contract lapse? I don’t know, but it’s not a date in the past.

1955-S wheat cents have a lower mintage (44 million) and sell for about $35 to $40 per BU roll.

The final count could easily be over 7 Billion, that's with a B.

Not yet known. If however, they do stop, there were many tens of millions minted in January.

This. When I owned a retail shop in Pennsylvania, I got new coinage frequently without asking or seeking it.. Now that I’m retired in Alabama, I see frequent übershiny coins in cash register drawers, so I know it’s out there.

    2025-D = 82,400,000
    2025-P = 160,000,000
    Total 2025 1C Business = 242,400,000(so far?)

Talk of the 1C "gone soon" according to Secretary Bessent = 110% FOMO = Moon Markups.

The 2025 Mint Set, containing the "same 1C" is due to drop late summer. That's also a potential FOMO Moon Sellout to be watching for?

The same FOMO can be said for the 2024 Mint Set. Still available(with 14k sets left), and selling like hotcakes just in case there is an empty 1C hole in the upcoming 2025 Mint Set.

FOMO is Powerful, and the Flippers & Dealers know it.

Wow low mintage I should sock a few away.

Probably 10s of millions if not 100s. I just want one. It would be great if it were in a Proof set.

My Lincoln collection in the albums ends with the 1974 issues.1975 was the first year of Lincoln cent production of over 5 billion pieces by a single Mint.
