Very carefully cracked it out for submission. I didn't want any 'external' influence on the grader to determine its condition. Thanks for the comments.
Is the common consensus to go this route and crack out of original graded slab and resubmit in penny sleeve and semi rigid to your preferred grader, SGC, PSA?

Then it was a "crossover", not a crossover, as you basically just graded a raw card. Still nice hit.

It depends on the holder it is in and the purpose.
But, in general profitability and resale, the PSA slab is most desirable followed by SGC and then Beckett, I suppose. After those three, for most collectors you get into some choppy waters.
I still consider CSG to be new but we’ll see how they do.
For Pro, GAI, etc. I think it is probably wise to get a nice card into the desired holder of your choosing, especially if you are looking to sell it.

Yes. In general you don't want the new grader to be influenced so you usually crack out.
Successful coin BST transactions with Gerard and segoja.
Successful card BST transactions with cbcnow, brogurt, gstarling, Bravesfan 007, and rajah 424.
My “crossover” experience… I bought a Mint 9 Yugioh card in a bizarre (unrecognizable company) holder…smashed it out (not recommended) since the holder put up a fight… and still sent it in to PSA in the hopes of finishing my Mint 9 set… and of course… got a PSA 9!!!
Maybe it was a PSA10 before all the smashing!!!

That is a stunning card that would be the highlight of my collection. Very nice!
For real. That’s a beauty
So did you send it to SGC in the GAI slab?
