Masonic SLHD Civil War piece !!!

Well, I picked this up the other day and am thrilled that I was able to add it to my Dansco Album collection!

    (Though the date of the engraving, 1866, puts this post Civil War.)

    …The date on the coin obverse is 1861, hence the “civil war” reference.

    Sinclearsville was the original spelling for Sinclairville, NY.

    There are many Civil War tokens which have the Masonic symbol on them. I had a customer who would buy all of the varieties that I could find. This member was a CWT die maker.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
