So I was able to acquire a couple of new additions to the 1939 Proof 67 CAC Merc. I purchased last year. Here are the 1937 and 1938 in Proof 67 CAC. Also now included are the ‘40, ‘41, and ‘42, all in 67 Cac too. I prefer these in brilliant white as opposed to the brownish toning seen on so many. I find these extremely beautiful and so eye appealing.

Nice! A lot of collectors prefer the dipped out Proofs (myself exculded). Either way of building the sets can turn out nicely.

Nice! I like to have the noses attached on mine. So many have excessive die polish!

Yes I agree with you that either way these little gems make a beautiful set to collect. Some of these tone beautifully while others not so well. I just prefer these the way they were released at the time. Thanks. Zack.

Heck of a set so far. Nice matching look. I take it now the big dog is on your radar?

I do like your proofs and the currency when they are satiny white well-struck....

That would be correct. I've saved the best for last only because I haven't come across one to match the set. Passed on 66's.

Hi Zack - great set! I know nothing about these & didn’t know the 1936 was the “big dog”. I tend to agree with you about these Merc PR’s - white is the way to go.

Hey Ken, just a fun little set to put together in matching grade, CAC, and visual appeal. Pretty low mintage numbers to begin with and PCGS 67 CAC are much, much less encountered. And 1936's are the most difficult in all denominations.

Very nice matched set with only one to go.
