PCGS Pan-Pac toner: NT or AT ?

This coin is pretty in-hand, with a nice sparkle/luster for the circulated grade — IMO the TruView is rather poor, and over-saturates some colors, especially the central violet tone. My iPhone quick snaps, even with the light source glare, better represent its look.
Curious about the forum’s opinion. Especially from those familiar with Pan-Pacs. Thanks for your input. ☮️😎

I vote AT. The same color spanning fields and devices is always a red flag for me, as the metal hardness is different so the toning should progress at different rates.

My guess is that the coin was lightly cleaned and retoned that way afterwards.

I would lean toward lightly cleaned and stuck in an album or other such storage for several years. Either way, apparently MA at the time of grading.
I don’t have any issues with that toning.

Very appealing, how much you asking
I love the color
What an exceptional example

I'd say questionable, but leaning natural. I can agree with Mark's thesis here, and album toning could produce that result.

Very attractive coin. I’d guess natural toning.

Although the coloring is attractive, the coverage seems too balanced on both sides.

Although it may have had some help, it does not stand out as AT to my eyes.
N.T
Market Acceptable with a lean towards NT ...either way I like it!
My initial thought is right in line with @MFeld. I suppose a coin could take on some wear and stay light in color to provide the base for toning, but for how bright the toning is, I have to imagine the coin was artificially brightened at least a bit, with the added benefit that a light cleaning would strip the skin and make the coin more reactive in a tone-inducing environment.
As far as biases go, I will freely admit that as much as I like toned coins, I tend not to like significant color on anything with more than the slightest touch of wear. I understand the appeal of this coin, but it’s harder for me to give the benefit of the doubt when it’s a look I personally don’t prefer.
I should also add that I’m not sure the poll has the right options for me. I can see the source of the toning as natural/acceptable (such as an album), but I think the toning was able to become what it is because of something else that isn’t natural. So my vote is natural toning, but cleaned first, meaning overall the look is not natural to me.
Anecdotal, but in my hunt for a nice Pan-Pac years ago I noticed a lot of odd original toning on these. Never did find one that I thought was both original and attractive. Ran out of patience and settled for an original.

Yeah, I was going to add more options to accommodate some of the anticipated replies here — but decided to keep it basic. I also see it as lightly cleaned and album retoned. For me that makes it AT … for others that still qualifies as NT.
Looks AT to me.
I agree with Mark, looks like it was dipped and it retoned. But it retoned pretty looking.

Ill go with an old cleaning, jmo 🙂
+1 for secondary color post cleaning, which I guess I'd lean towards "natural", however you'd want to look at it.

Here are a couple I saw years ago that I thought were original and attractive.
A good client of mine bought the second one.

I guess it’s a matter of semantics, but there is no way a lightly worn coin got that color completely naturally. The piece was lightly cleaned and toned or was toned that way. The colors look a little bright to me which leads me to the “was toned” persuasion, but it could be the natural result of the post cleaning as well.
The often come with peripheral multicolor toning but the surfaces look too dull, even for an issue that often has unusual luster. Many were cleaned and/or circulated. Toning could be from an album or maybe not.
I like the toning of this coin, even if it may have been cleaned at some point and then retoned.

If the coin was MS I'd say suspicious. But NT for a circulated coin. Once the top layer of luster wears away coins tone differently then they do with MS luster.
Beautiful coin.
I don't have a clue, I collect Pennies. Whether it's Mother Nature's NT or some expert coin doctor's AT what do opinions matter. The coin has been declared "Market acceptable" by a respectable top grading service.
