My week+ late FUN show report

I meant to do this earlier, but we had a cruise booked right after the show so time just slipped away. Plus, so many others have posted some great reports, so I'll keep mine brief. Below were my highlights, it was a great show for me:

Added a key coin for my Capped Bust half registry set, a true ("drool" from chin to bust) Bearded Goddess graded VF-30 and with a green bean. I really liked the look of this coin. I was able to trade a couple of my coins to help with the cost. Now have 74 out of the 79 coins required for the set.

Went ahead and jumped on a chance to get an orange Witter Brick at the show. I did post a separate thread on that. Here is the prize coin from my brick, very worthy.

Got some other coins for my bookshelf albums and a couple of very nice toners.

I ran into numerous forum and Instagram members, which was really cool. Most of the dealers said they were having a good show. Like other coin shows, we (me and my wife) made this a vacation and had a 5 day cruise on the Utopia of the Seas after the show. We had a blast. Staying at Rosen Centre turned out to be good too, close to the show and other places we wanted to go, without a car.

That "drool" effect reminds me of a recent poster who displayed a Lincoln Cent with a similar abnormality. Think his was deemed PMD. Maybe someone could repost the Cent. Not implying yours is PMD related.

I picked up one at FUN as well from Phil at EAC, also with a green bean. Very happy with it.

Thanks for your report, love bearded goddess. Hope you had fun on the Utopia, my daughter and her family sailed her just before Christmas and they had a great time.
