FSH - 1810 O-108a r.4 PCGS AU55 Capped Bust Half Dollar

If anyone here is interested please reach out and let me know this week before I offer it elsewhere.

.
I recently upgraded my DM set piece for this important r.4 Die State coin with a fantastic AU58 example, and am not interested in keeping two of them.

.
When Legend sold this coin in February of 2023, they described her as such;

"This late die state is quite scarce, listed as Rarity-4 in the most recent AMBPR, and this one ranks among the finest examples of this state in the listing of auction results. A wealth of satiny mint frost can be seen gracing the lightly worn surfaces. Perhaps lightly dipped ages ago, the surfaces are mostly untoned. The devices are crisp, despite the dies having clashed and the reverse being severely damaged by a number of interesting and dramatic die breaks. The eye appeal is very charming."

I can certainly agree with this assessment through and through, and find it lacking of any of the hyperbole sometimes associated with such auction descriptions.

I have never sent the coin to CAC, as I figured it had already been, but the coin is solid for the grade technically, with good luster and an absence of hairlines that tend to plague many whiter CBH examples.

Price is delivered on receipt of good funds, net to me.
