I walked away from coins a couple years ago but as many of you know, it's hard to leave forever.
I enjoy taking pics as much as the coins.
Had to upgrade my computer which led to having to buy a new camera.
Finally bit the bullet. Still need to buy an editing program but at least I'm back piddling.
First coin I pulled out. I think I'm going to like the new camera. Need a few days to get used to it again but it'll come.

This just isnt true. It's actually very easy with a few specific pieces of equipment. It's addictive though.

You may very well be right as I have never really tried taking a photo with a decent camera and a copy stand with a camera mount and proper lighting. Like with most things, I imagine the preparation is where most of the work is done to get a great photo.

Thanks. Finding one of these pieces without shattered dies is more challenging.
Not many pieces out there in better overall condition but lots of later die states.
