I like the top one better. Looks like it is already graded and the bottom one has questionable colors, IMHO.
Wow - Both are fantastic. But I think # 2 obverse shows more detail/depth of the face.

Thanks,
The bottom one has the color off…….too much purple. Not sure how that happened. I don’t like the new upgrade to inge corrections.

I like the top one. More even color.
Top one, especially the beautiful reverse. Both coins are likeable. Nice post, Stef, thanks for sharing.

I like both a lot! I would give a slight edge to the top one if forced to pick.
Difficult to say as the two photos were taken under different lighting.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
I think I would preference the lower one because the face under come out darker and not so hard of the dark color,,,,,,just my two cents………z

Second one just like the lighter toning more.
NFL: Buffalo Bills & Green Bay Packers
I like them both, but I like #1 the best because the reverse is beautiful for my taste.
Happy New Year to you Steph. Long time no see.
If the second one is brighter in hand than the first one, then I can see it being a little better.
Top one due to the hair spot in the second one

I think it’s more of a lighting difference than a true preference for me, but the image on the second one looks so bright I can’t see all of the coin, but for the first coin I can see the whole coins surfaces and that alone makes me like it a bit more. I think both look like great coins though.

Since all there is to judge them are these images I would pass on both, they look to be flooded with light to enhance the color and are both probably dark. JMHO.
Not sure on the 2nd one because the image seems overexposed. Both look lovely though.
I THINK I'd like the 1st one better, because of 1. the reverse toning and 2. the depth of color

Top one has a better reverse. Bottom has a better obverse. Based on something i call "visibility", which is how much clarity or detail can be seen. the only side with what i would call premium toning is the reverse of the top. The other 3 sides, have toning that is too blotchy. However I like the way the detail stands out on the obverse of the bottom coin. So overall i would give a slight edge to the bottom coin, because in general, the obverse is a more important side. Ranking each side separately: best side is the reverse of the top, second place is the obverse of the bottom, third place is the reverse of the bottom, last place is the obverse of the top. The reason the obverse of the top is in last place is the toning is too dark and looks almost black, hiding obverse details. However note that i am ranking this based on photos only. No idea how these coins look in hand.

Both are awesome toners!
If in doubt, sell both and await another that leaves no doubt!
Good to see you post, Stef. Always enjoy what you bring to the table, pics or no pics!

They're both fantastic but I prefer the top one. It has nice even toning on the reverse. Looks like there may be a milkspot on the bottom one on the hair.
Both are nice but I like the first one better. I can't unsee the spots on the portrait of the second one.

The top one based on the image. The coin looks more “real” & “natural”. The second one shows too much lighting. In hand, though, it might be the opposite. Both have nice eye appeal.

i like the first one cause the toning is more even all the way around, fwiw
Bottom coin, both sides appear to have toned to the same degree and in this case with the complex subject matter, less toning is more , which is a phrase that I almost never utter.
Always great to see your posts, Stefanie. Good health and God bless for the new year!
Commems and Early Type
First one.
Wow, they are both really nice!!👍
If I had to choose, I think I would pick the top one, but only by a slim margin.
I like the color just a bit more (I like the aqua and red!) and also the fact that it’s already graded, so there is no risk.

I was thinking this was the trick thread.
They look nearly identical to me.
Correct answer is BOTH
