This year I was very surprised to see that I had purchased 12 Numismatic items which is the same number that I bought in 2023. I bought 10 coins, one National Bank Note and one book. There are several items in the 2025 Heritage FUN auctions that I need. I will be bidding very aggressively. How many Numismatic items did you buy in 2024?

On advice from legal counsel I cannot answer that question at this time.

same as usual: not enough and too many
More than any other year not even close 30-35 coins (2024 was a year of starting news series so the amount of coins reflect that). Most are 100$ or less and a few over 150$. Went over my budget but have to buy when you can when collecting Latin American coins (they are much rarer that most US coins).
I would be very happy to add 6-8 coins in 2025. But as the years go by my sets are getting closer and closer to been complete so it is not going to be easy. And many I need are rare, very rare or extremely rare. I would be happy not to spend more than 1500$. I do want a specific coin from Jamaica that one alone would cost 600$-800$ (I very rarely ever spend that much for a single coin). If I find that coin then I will surpass the 1500$ and be at likely 2000$ for 2025.
Did I go over budget in 2024? Yes I did but I count myself very lucky to add the coins I was able to get.

I don't keep count as the wife might see, but I keep getting really nice thick full color catalogs for upcoming Heritage and CNG auctions (plus a few European auction houses) and some nice 2025 calendars, so apparently enough.
My wife asks why I get these and I just tell her it is still normal for this, like when Neiman Marcus used to send her a phone book size catalog before Christmas every year.
Fortunately, Ian doesn't send me catalogs, just coins that I tell my wife are just my weekly upgrades at "almost no cost." And at least the FedEx guy knows my gate code and birthdate now so he quit asking, making it quicker to get him out of here before she notices him. 🤡
Yep. Me too.

This year I added six coins to my US $2.50 set - four were upgrades, 1851-D and 1857-D got checked off the want list.

Now you tell me to keep track! I guess you should look on the "Post you recent coin purchases" thread.

Over the course of the year I felt like I was having a slow year, but looking back at my paperwork it turns out that I picked up 10 coins (9 busties and 1 WL) so it was actually about normal for me.

Probably about 100 or more if you count everything related to numismatics

62 - with about half of those being a mix of silver and modern commemorative halves.
Three for my core expanded US type set, one for my Jefferson 5c set, and four bullion items. So, eight ... ? But just three that really count.
Zero coins, though I did purchase some storage supplies.

Only 8 coins, and one of them I just upgraded so I’ll probably sell it soon.

I bought 9 coins this year and traded 2 so a net of 7 coins were added to my sets. I believe that is fewer than any other year except in 2017, when I started collecting coins again.

About 10 coins added and traded toward 1 (so net 1). A couple numismatic books as well.

Quite a few. I did not plan on it, but things really came out of the woodwork this year in my area of interest. You know that kind of stuff that presents itself once or twice every 50 some odd years?

Probably about 15 coins, but I think you can cancel out 1 coin with 2 books.. so when my girls asks the number is only around 3
