I just got to wondering what everyone has. I only have a couple of friends who collect cards and we already know each others collections pretty well.
If you threw them up on Ebay or consigned to an auction house, what would be your top 3-5 cards in terms of value? anyone have a Mantle Rookie or 52 Topps? Key Tobacco cards? Great modern stuff?

No Mantle rookies, but here are the top 3 in my modest collection on my limited budget...lol.
looking for 1988 Fournier estrellas stickers , 1985 Prism Jewel stickers , anything Jesse Owens .

I love 3 things about this box. 1st no gum for concerns of eating the entire box after another 65 years from now. 2nd this 8 card issue is the only way you can pull a #68 SP Ted Signs. 3rd thing is it's a 1/1 complete original full wax box.
My favorite unopened item that I never get to look at for 3 good reasons.

Farmboy27 those Mantle cards are stunning...and wanting a 1948 Leaf Jackie Robinson...I'm jealous of your 4.5. I agree that the 48 Leaf Jackie should not have a red tint...sort of like '62 green tint cards.

I'm a 70s guy (for the most part) so here's some 70s plus 1 sweet, sweet 68...
Excellent cards everyone. I love this thread. For many reasons. One of which is perfect timing. Most of mine are in two boxes which was in a room that perfect strangers will be working on. So temporarily relocating.
Speaker and Matty are awesome! Love the Payton 10! AGR those are museum pieces. Farmboy with Mantle’s rookie both Jakie rookies and a couple of Mantle’s second year card to boot. A ton of gorgeous 70s cards and Monte’s unreal eye. A whole box of Williams!! Love the Musial Red Heart. Jordan and Gretzky too! Thanks everyone for sharing your treasures.

I must admit, it makes me a little uneasy seeing that Schmidt rookie so close to the Bretts. I keep my Schmidt cards in a completely separate box from my Bretts, you know, for safety reasons...

Craig, speaking of Schmidt mlb network just came out with a documentary episode about him. It was very good, Brett and Johnny Bench were both on it along with a few of Schmidt’s teammates.
Check it out if you get a chance.
Woodstock, love the niche. And have been thinking along some similar lines. A nice PSA 9 Nasty Nick or Evil Eddie is on my target list. Also have been eyeballing a nice Sarah Michelle Gellar auto. Waiting for a better price but doubt it comes. Especially with her back on Dexter. May need to hurry up before she gets on other people's minds.
Wow the number of outstanding Brett rookies is crazy. That card rarely looks as good as all the ones posted here. Mine has a fisheye and I am now filled with shame.
