Shout Out to GC

The customer service at GreatCollections is amazing. I live in Florida and last month, when there was a danger of a hurricane striking my area (which it did but not too badly) GreatCollections reached out to me and asked if I wanted to wait a week until they shipped a coin I had just won. I agreed that was a good idea, so they delayed shipping a week and then promptly shipped it.

Last week I won 2 coins at GreatCollections and they sent them to me a very nice box (as you can see below) with a "Thank you" in it. Actually, I probably owe them a thank you for their great service. :)

What did you buy that they shipped them in that box? I have made a bunch of purchases from them and I have just got them rubber banded together!

Good people. I’ve never had an issue with them.

I use them almost exclusively now for coin purchases online. Easy to search and customer service is outstanding. A little of the wild west on ebay and a little too snooty on some of the other big auction sites for me.

I used GC back in 2020 when I had a handful of coins to sell. My experience was wonderful. I highly recommend them.

I’m sure I can fare better with Ian and Co. than with my $.99 eBay auctions and bidder’s retractions. Then again those eBay items( due to risks ) gets details coins and raw stuff starting at a dollar. My graded stuff rarely goes to eBay. I’m saving those boxes for Ian.

I believe it has to be over a certain dollar amount for an item (note that I have not received one either so basing my guess on that). My orders tend to be 1-3 coins and come in the cardboard safe-t-mailers.

Great company purchased from them a few times and will continue buying from them.

I've only had good experiences with GC.

GC is the best. I’m a little biased, though.

Annual employee review coming up? 😉

I will jump on this too. Old-school true customer service with fair and equitable business all the way around. A true bright spot in the numismatic world . . . .

I've slowly switched from eBay to GC over the past few years, both buying and selling. I rarely buy on eBay anymore. I like to know what I'm buying, and the photography on GC obviously trumps the images on The Bay. Great service too from end to end.

Very nice gesture on the part of GC. I guess I'm like the numismatic Charlie Brown. No matter how much business I have done with GC over the years, all I get is a rock-

I just stopped by my local gift shop and was given a free but useless and a great gag gift. A ceramic taco holder. Perfect for my daughter whose husband hates clutter!
