Maybe those collectors want two opinions confirming that their coins are indeed PO1, and not under-graded FA02.
Also, I’ll make the assumption that most lowball collectors are still reasonably picky, seeking out the nicest and most attractive coins in their desired grades.

Never saw a P01 with a gold sticker. Is there one out there?
Wouldn't a gold sticker hurt the value of a low-ball coin since it would imply the coin is a higher grade?
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

I think CAC knows P01 collecting is a race to the bottom and a sticker means the best lowest of the low. To me, a gold on a P01 means no scratches, dings, damage, dipping, etc and can't get any more wear and be able to recognize date and mintage.
Forgot that I had one. I didn’t buy it for the sticker. I bought it because it’s PO01.
How do you get those stickers off? What's the easiest way to remove them? Asking for a friend. 😎 He said the slab and coin would look better without that sticker. 😎

In this instance my best guess is to confirm the coin was not manipulated intentionally to give it the circulated look.
I would hate to have to replace this.

I was wrapped around the axle on this when I stated this thread and it hasn't gotten any better. 🤣 😉
