Went to a local coin show today and picked up this brilliant proof Mercury Dime. Couldn’t resist it’s beauty.

That's a shiny dime!!😎
Yes, the Rochester Numismatic Association annual show. Always a great show.
Nice Mercury pickup.
I read an automotive forum. That title gets me off guard.
Hold in, let me get my sunglasses
That sure is a nice dime 😎
Easy to see why you couldn’t resist it’s beauty.
Beauty, congrats on the newp!

Nice bands,,,,,,
I also thought you got a new truck, usually see "newp" or something in the title.
What a cool and clean looking merc, like!
Nice coin.
Thanks for everyone’s positive comments. This proof really stuck out and even though I don’t currently collect them, I just may have to start a new collecting venture. Coins, not trucks!
Excellent example!

Or both? Great looking buy (notice I avoided saying pickup) - congrats!

Great purchase! What a lovely coin. Proof coins from 1936-1942 are special!

That’s a great looking proof Merc. I’ve got one and would like to give her some friends someday.
Thanks Steve. Appreciate you. Zack
Lovely example!

That’s a really, really nice 39. Of all the proof Mercs, the 39s suffered the most from over-polished dies. On your example, the bridge of Liberty’s nose appears to be full, which can be really hard to find on this date.
Nice pick up!
