Hi,
Here's a coin I sent out earlier this year. What do y'all think PCGS gave this coin?

I would guess 53
45, though the halos around the stars give me pause to think it may not have straight graded.

Looks like I am in a part of the majority ... it seemed to say 53 to me

Alt surfaces or 53 I could see it getting both grades depending on the day

PCGS gave this this one a XF45. Upon submission - I believed it would get AU50 with a shot at 53 because of the strong details. I guess they decided to net it to a 45 because of the old dip and retoning.
It does have nice details! You are probably right, they dropped it to 45 for lack of luster.
Before I saw the results I was in at 50
As usual PCGS got it right and gave it the best grade they could under the circumstances.
