    I think a number of coins have gone reasonably cheap - one example is the 1890 seated half in PC67 CAC that sold for $10,800. The 1918/7-D Buffalo in AU55 CAC also went for less than expected.

    Gold may have done better overall. The one coin I targeted did not fly under the radar as I had hoped.

    Not something I would be interested in, but this piece seems to be a bargain at that price given its absolute rarity. Congrats to the new owner. Champagne all around.
