230 Medal

RelaxnRelaxn Posts: 990 ✭✭✭✭✭

Received mime today. No Privy and no signatures... dont love it. Seems like a caricature more than an actual attempt to make the coin... was not playing the lottery... genuinely dislike the medal. Will probably give it out for Halloween or pass it to one of my nieces.

@Relaxn Can you post a picture of your COA. I got my 2024 FH Meadal today and I'm not sure of my COA is the GOLDEN signed COA.

Mine is the same as yours... I assume if they were special there would be more inserts...

The signed COAs accompany some of the privy marked medals, so if you didn't get a privy then you can be confident tyat you didn't ger the special COA. ;)

I just searched the USM and found what your are confirming. It had me hoping, but no-cigar. Thanks and here is what I just found.

No, they are not fakes. You have to have a medal with the 230 Privy mark. Then 230 of these 1794 Medals will have Golden signed COA. I would like to see a photo of one of these 230 SPECIAL SIGNED COAs. I guess the USM does not want us the see the difference between the 2 types of COAs.

Prices are hilarious. I used to buy modern and was fully caught up in the bs…so glad I moved on.

Mine arrived and it is not the privy marked medal. But...I am impressed with the quality!

Question - much like we wonder about the number of dies used in coin production, how many silver sharpies did Director Gibson use in signing the COAs?

If you don't like it, why don't you return it to the mint? I think you are still within the time limit.
