Real currency?

Got this from my brother quite a few years ago. I don't believe it's genuine, but then again I've seen some currency that was real, but didn't seem to be. Thanks for your replies.

Every novice collector has one of these…and no, it’s not genuine.

The paper of a real note is nothing like the paper of these reproductions.

That 'parchment' paper is a giveaway, as are the signatures that are printed in the same black color as the rest of the design. (Signatures were usually handwritten, typically in brownish ink.)

Also, they are all No. 8894.

Great catch. I totally missed that, but knew it was a reproduction on that fake parchment paper as I have Confederate currency on the same paper w/o the printed word-copy.

Weren't notes like this used as cereal box promotional items in the 1950s?
