Wondering if anyone has experiences they can share with selling and buying in this GC category. As a buyer, did you get what you expected? Would you bid again? As a seller, did GC do a good job with the images? Did your lot close as you expected? Would you say the results would be on par compared to selling through ebay?
I have some raw sets, an album of Jefferson's and album of Franklin's in , a buff short set in a capital plastics holder and the like (all UNC), and would like to sell as-is, but face issues of taking decent pictures at all (much less of a whole album page or even subset) and am happy with market determining value. I've been very happy with GC all the way around, but view the raw lots as a bit different.

I purchased a partially filled album of pre 65 Washington quarters in an album from GC a few years ago. In the end, I got the quarters for less than scrap value. I was happy. Not sure about the seller. About half of the quarters were MS.
I have my first selling experience in the raw category going on right now. It’s for an original sealed paper wrapped bank roll of Kennedy halves. GC needed to open the roll to show all the coins and I was fine with that. It has a very nice purple toned end coin which they highlighted on top.

I have bought coins there and been very happy. I know they are very reluctant to sell album stuff.
I've bought several items from this category. Got this one for $86: https://www.greatcollections.com/Coin/1540821/Canada-2009-Gold-50-Cents-Maple-Leaf-Proof-Uncertified-in-Case-of-Issue-AGW-00407-oz
Have never bought raw lots there. Just shop for slabs. Been real satisfied with any pickups, service (prompt shipping). GC - they are top flight.
