Like '62s...'55 Bowmans are either an eye sore in lower grade or aesthetically pleasing to the eye in high grade. This '55 Bowman seems to be testing the limits of the assigned grade in my opinion. In the background...I like the picture of the right field wall at old Shibe Park/Connie Mack Stadium. Happy to add it to my Mantle collection.

that stewart probably could grade a psa 10 five years ago. great cards.
I’m with ya. In some cases 9 vs 10 is just a flip of a coin. Loved this one, so had to grab it!

I have a small collection of 52Ts - they're just so iconic and bring a smile to ones face.
I have the Stewart too Nic - I have the 89WS trophy and he was the MVP. Great companion with the ticket & program.

Thanks Mike! That’s a nice set you have!!

Picked up this type 1 original photo of John "The Beast" Mugabi hitting the speed bag in the shadows. I think Marvin Hagler put it best when he said about Mugabi, "When he threw punches, they were all deadly, very hard punches." A little video for entertainment.

Very presentable PSA 2 O Pee Chee Yaz. I knew this card would be a pain point in collecting the set. I think the low grade scared some people away. There is a crease in the card that shows on the back but is more like a bend on the front. Nicer centering than most '71 OPC Yaz cards.
finally completed my 96 finest refractor silver set with the jeter refractor.
Congrats on the set completion!

2013 Sportkings Tommy Hearns mini Silver /7. The Hitman, murderous puncher, Tommy Hearns’ second-round sawed-off shotgun blast to the jaw of Roberto Duran might just be the most devastating knockout in boxing history.

Outstanding centering on the Fred and Lou…great eye!
As you, more than anyone know, you have to sort through a ton of duds before you can find some gems. I appreciate the comment. Thanks!

Got this yesterday.
Does this count as a Hall Of Famer?
A Sub returned home this week. Only an 8 but a self pulled highly condition sensitive Mid 90's Auto.
A childhood purchase back home this week. I'm mostly comic book collector the last 25 years so my 1st trading cards sub in 10 years.
Due to CGC damaging nearly every comic they have graded since May 2023 then gaslighting all their customers I'm now diverting my time & funds towards cards.
Sweet colors and centering on the 52 Coleman! Congrats...
Nice addition to my Cubs collection today.

It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972)
Loving the pre-war - congrats on some great cards.
Nice looking 2.
That McCall is an AWESOME 2! Beautiful card and the colors are still so vibrant.
Based on that McCall 2 is the new 4/5
Wasn't Bob (Robert) McCall the Edward Woodward Equalizer? and the Denzel too?

I don’t mind the little scratch as the rest of the card is great. Saved me a lot of money so I actually appreciate it.
@BaltimoreYankee Congrats on the Yaz pickup Daniel. That's a beautiful well-centered example and presents higher than the grade assigned. Do you have the Clemente yet? In my humble opinion, the Yaz, Clemente, Mays, and Killebrew are the 4 keys in that tough tough 1971 OPC HIGH# series.

Thanks, Adam. I have the Mays and Killebrew cards already but still need to pony up for Clemente. There are a few more high numbers that re pricey as well (Baylor/Baker rookie card comes to mind). One thing I had not realized before jumping into this set was the Montreal Expos premium. I have both Staub cards and the Expos team card but they were a good bit more than the Topps counterparts.
Wow nice 71 Yaz. Collecting the 71 OPC is darn near impossible.

Haven’t bought any cards in awhile (been doing comics instead, more bang for your Buck). Got a few books and a nice framed lithograph of the 48 Indians team for my birthday.
Pretty Cool...👍
Finally got my Bench RC in an 8.5 to add to my Bench runs.
Very nice 8.5s, Keith! Also...the 8 and 6 look exceptional for the assigned grades.
From recent SGC submission. Ebay pickup I thought might grade well.

I’m not going into next season, when Shohei starts pitching for the Dodgers, without a few of his rookie cards.
Thank you Monte. Like you I really like the PSA 8.5 grade in all of my cards. The 8.5 came back strong so I was pleased to with the eye appeal, and next to the other two Bench rookies the PSA 8 really looks strong and worthy of a review IMO.
An upgrade to my "Baseball Thrills" set.
Undervalued issue
2024 Leaf Electrum printing plate set, Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini, used in the production of his cards from that set. One of the greatest volume punchers in boxing history, always moving forward and throwing hard leather was his modus operandi, Mancini was rarely in a dull fight. Love this video featuring the song his friend Warren Zevon wrote about him.

Picked these up at the local flea market. $20 for all was what I paid.
