Back in January I promised to report the results of our host's decision, good or bad for me) on a 1916-D Buffalo that I believed was FS-901. Great Collections received the results today after a saga I've described in earlier posts. There were several doubters, (you may find yourselves in the original comments below), Okay, so it was cleaned, which knocks me down a peg, so I won't gloat (too much.) Heres the link to the original post if I did this right. https://forums.collectors.

I have to admit I wouldn't have thought it was a 3-1/2 legger. Good on you for sticking to your guns.
nice
why does the small feather disconnect from the head in late die state obverses?
Congratulations.
Vindication is the second greatest feeling in the world.

Congratulations for staying with your belief 👍👍
Have to guess. More die polishing?
I’m ok saying I stand corrected, congrats!

You can clearly see 4 legs. This is silly.
Well Done!
Thanks. Have to admit that the photo was not the best and made the leg appear stronger than it is in hand. It really more closely resembles my slabbed example, so I can only hope the GC photographer does a better job than me.
way cool
