1910 reverse of 1909 Lincoln Cent?

I see one in this week's GC auction. It's in an NGC details holder. I wasn't aware of this "variety". PCGS does not recognize this variety.

I am in a challenging situation and can’t post a link but it’s listed on Variety Vista under DDR for 1910 which there is only one. It was discovered by John Chew and listed in his book Going Down The Rabbit Hole which can be bought at Amazon. He discovered the numerous 1909 DDRs and it appears a reverse 1909 DDR die was used to strike up a 1910.

Do collectors care about this variety now or will they in the future? How many and would they buy one? Food for thought.

Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.

It’s a new variety and not well known. But considering the current auction for a less than stellar example is already near $500 there must be a handful of current collectors who want an example. But after those handful end up with an example it’s hard to know what the future interest will be.
