Hello All,
Just trying to make sure I’m getting this right. Do you think this is DDO?
Thank you

I assume you'll post a picture at some point. Regardless, I'll go out on a limb and say no.
Go to the PCGS Coin Facts web site where they have a detailed pic of the 1955DDO cent. Compare your coin to this pic to get your answer.

It's allegedly a 1955-D not a 1955
Definitely not. Common strike doubling.

Without seeing pictures, we cannot say. That said, I think many such inquiries are based on not properly appreciating how light is reflecting from different parts of the raised elements. Depending on the details of the lighting, it's easy enough to get photos that seem to show doubling when there is none. For example, the areas of transition between field and bevel of letters & digits, and between bevel and the flatter high points will share an angle of reflectance that can give the appearance of parallel shapes on one side of those letters or digits.

Nope, nothing here that could even be doubled.

Where did you find the term DDO? and if your seriously interested check the posts of our serial poster of **@nooraden1 ** .
Examples are shown of all minor or no value coins with minute minting variations that the poster like yourself are valuable. .but in fact are far from that$$$$.
I don't see any doubling. It's definitely not DDO-001 or 002.
Where do you see doubling?
It would help to have an explanation as to why you thought this might be a DDO. Then we could explain to you what you are looking for is in error and not an error.

With respect, you're nowhere near ready to think about looking for doubled die varieties. Forget about that for a (long) while and just enjoy your collection as is.
