Hello, I have this large cent-no date but some details mostly on the reverse. Can anyone ID or date this coin by the details left on the coin? Thanks in advance for any possible infor. Bob

This large cent expert cannot.
It’s a relatively common reverse type used after 1796. Not much obverse detail; what I hoped or thought was a significant die break across the obverse doesn’t match anything in my book.
I’m also coming up empty. I just don’t see anything unique to help in the identification.
Smitten with DBLCs.
I came up with an 1800 S-203.
Does anyone want to double check that?

Wow, I feel vindicated! I thought for sure @Aotearoa would pick up something I missed, especially since I was looking at iPhone images and on rumrunner #2 at the time lol!
I would refute that, albeit based on weak evidence....the berries/stems look wrong for the variety.
If you can attribute 1800 large cents from that, you are much better than I am. I had trouble with one in VF years ago. By 1800, the mint was doing a pretty good job of making "widgets" with respect to varieties.
