My first "Problem" Coin

I bought my first problem coin today. As a rule, I avoid them. Especially when I already have the date and variety in AU58. This one is a Fine Details, Improperly Cleaned. In hand the color looks nice and even brown, so I like it.

I think the original “problem” during striking at the mint far exceeds the minor post mint problems, very cool.
How is it classified? Looks like multiple strikes with the planchet rotating???
Double Struck
1st strike 60% off center
Mint Error Fine Details
Improperly Cleaned
It is rotated about 2 degrees clockwise (which is nothing in half cents)

I really like it-nice addition!
I prefer owning a coin in low grade vs not having one in my set.

Cool! Here's my problem coin. I wish I could find a straight graded F-VF.
Some nice "problems" to have.
First World problems, for sure
Great coin!

@Walkerguy21D - Apologies. You are talking about the rotated planchet and I was thinking rotated dies. Yes, the planchet was rotating between the strikes. it's most clear when comparing the angle of the profiles. This one is fun to view and think about how it happened.

Neo, great coin. I love it and have not seen one like it. Can't tell the color from the photo, but if copper brown, who cares about a 200+ year old coin being cleaned, at least I wouldn't. Congrats on a great pickup and thanks for sharing.

I would like to thank @mcarney1173 for bringing this coin to my attention. I really appreciate it.

Problem coin doesn't quite seem to fit for this desirable example.
The coin is unique, a one-off!
There is no other, problem-free, specimen.
The minor indignities it suffered over 200+ years are trivial.
