1945 D Philippine 10 Centavo Coin with an anomaly on the 1 is a minting problem, regardless of country. I did place it on world coin and did not get a repy.
What caused the doubling on the 1 in the Date on this 10 Centavos coin? The 9 looks like machine doubling but the 1 does not. It appears to be a doubled strike or an additional 1. Your opinions please.

Not a minting error, just a repunched date.

To me it definitely looks like it is doubled.
There was a story a while back where a buyer bought a roll of Centavos coins from a large seller who was supposed to check the coins in the rolls for the prized doubling on these coins, Long, story, short, there were like 10 coins found by the buyer when he searched the roll that were doubled.
I would carefully check the word "United" and "America"to see if it also is doubled.
Anyway, a nice find.
