I won this PCGS PR67 CAM 1950 Jefferson nickel for $60.00 on eBay

braddickbraddick Posts: 24,121 ✭✭✭✭✭

It's been mailed, yet do you think I will receive this coin?

Looking at feedback coupled with the value of this nickel I give it a 50/50 shot.

Damn, I need that one! Good catch. They have good feedback, I'm sure you'll get it.

You've got nothing to lose. With over 3000 items listed, it's possible they overlooked it. I'll be optimistic and say you will get the exact coin.

If you decide to sell it I would be interested in buying it. :)

Seller has huge feedback so you are in good shape, but on an Ebay rip, never. ever boast until the coin is in hand.

Even shipped, the coin can be recalled by the sender.

I hope you receive it but as mentioned before, never mention a great purchase until the coin is in your hand.

I appreciate the concern, and I also read the same comment above- yet in dealing with eBay since 1997 I've never heard of anyone having mail recalled or returned to the sender instead of being delivered to the adressee (unless there was some type of criminal activity).

As far as selling it, I plan on keeping it and building a 1950 proof set PCGS registry. I've know the half dollar will be a tough coin to locate in PR67 yet in searching, the other ones are not too difficult.

Very nice. A half to match that is going to be a tall order.

It's called a package intercept, but isn't always successful. I have had it tried once on a purchase, but the coin still made it to me.

A very nice pick-up. I used to be able to find when it was originally listed, but can not find it now. Was it up for minutes or days?

Used it once. It was frustrating to track, but it worked.

Guy bought a pricey error from me, about $2000 as I recall. Paid and I mailed it. Couple hours later he sent a message asking me to hold up the shipment for a couple of weeks as he was headed out of town. Didn't need that aggravation so I recalled it.

Nice pick up! Sometimes things slip through on eBay and sellers honor the auctions.
