Gold Mine

So, i am aware of some good people on a gold mine, they have rights etc..
What are some great spots to look for gold in a region with no water, and very many boulders and mountains???

    I don't do this kind of detecting myself; however, I have heard of people having success by searching through the old mine tailings.

  • Do you know the particle size of the gold at the mine site?
    If it's so called "flour gold" it might be too small for most detectors to pick it up. Also the mineralization of the ground is very important. Usually gold or gold ore is associated with other metals (and various geological compounds containing different metals) wich might throw off many detectors.

    So at first it might be helpful to study the geology of the area. If you are lucky you will find some informations at your local library or online.

    I heard flower is found. However, these mines go for big chunks, silver tungsten / etc
    Yes, that is a good start. Finding another detector that is refined is another.
