Adding Inventory

As far as I know there are two ways to add inventory
1st way is to go to the top of the page and add the cert #, when you do it this way it will add the coin and come up with a screen that allows you to put in all the information about the coin, purchase date, where you bought it, price paid and any other info in the comments and personal notes, and add pics.

The 2nd way is to click on the add inventory. If you use this method you can add the cert # and check the box to add to all sets. Doing it this way will not let you add all the information listed above.
When I've done it this way "sometimes" it will show all the sets that the coin was added to, and sometimes it doesn't! even though it did add it to several sets.

When done the 2nd way I have to go back add click on the cert # of the coin just added to add all the information

Is this a glitch or am I missing something

When this happens to me, I click on the inventory button on the main page.
https://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/mysetregistry/myitems
I then set my inventory to
Active inventory that was last added ( I always leave my inventory set to this choice )
Then I click on the cert that I want to add the info to. This also allows me to add pics.
It works great when you have added multiple items.

If you do it that way it doesn't add the item to ALL of the sets that it might fit in

I use the phone app to add inventory.
I have not had any issues with this adding a cert to all sets where applicable, not that I am aware of.
I use my main computer to add the pictures by using the last inventory process that I described above to you.
I can also do this on my phone with no problem but choose the computer as I store my pictures into my private files at the same time as I load them into Pcgs's inventory.
For clarification, I cannot remember how long ago that I added inventory thru my desktop.
I will keep what you have said above in mind if I need to go that way.
The cats meow is when I scan the nfc chipped slabs on my phone.
Scan the code, then hit view and then edit in the info that I want to add.
