Since I’m not a member there, I can’t log in. However, seeing as how the site’s viewable and lots of imaged coins are listed, “totally kaput” strikes me as highly inaccurate and misleading.

Is there a better term for a site that can not add new coins?
    Or edit existing ones?

I emailed Stacks Bowers to inquire since my infomation is that they bought Collective Coin.

Collective Coin was (is??) the simplest site to keep track of a collection.

I miss it. I deleted some coins I sold.
It is impossible to edit them back in.
    ....OR...
add them as a NEW coin.

Invalid S3 something blah blahhh.... disappears before any action can be done. :#

To be fair Mark, he did spell 'totally' with the much less commonly used, "totallly" variant.

Pat, obviously, you’re much nicer than I am when it comes to giving credit where it’s due.
Should I edit my post to say “totallly” ?

Yes, there are numerous better terms. I bet that if you wanted to, you could come up with a list without any help.

As a test, I just tried to upload an image and as the upload was almost completed there was a red line and message about "invalid permissions."

    Cool.
Now, address your words, "can not."

I move my inventory tracking and images to MyCollect from Collective coin.

I wish PCGS would allow NGC coins in the showcases and image albums.

I lived in Malaysia (Penang Island) for a couple years on Foreign Service assignment, and they give emphasis between can and cannot by saying "can can" as in "can you loan me cab fare?" "Can not." Well, then how about a ride on your scooter"". "Can can!"

Not perfect and doesn't work with sets, only showcases, but I just use a random modern cert without a TV and use my own image. Like this:

My PC databases and image files work really really good.
They .....were.... my handy "drag and drop" into the excellent <3 Collective Coin site.

I could log in and I could edit piece and add another photo - did not try to add any as I have nothing to add.
