Tougher Half dime question

COINS MAKE CENTSCOINS MAKE CENTS Posts: 1,823 ✭✭✭✭✭

Half dimes, or seated in general is not really my specialty....

I know this is a details coins, but would it be considered a Good details or a VG details in your opinion?

Thanks for the help

It's on the high side of good, as there is some shield detail.
Not VG since that requires 3 letters of LIBERTY visible.
Definitely a valuable date; might straight grade but I'm not an expert on that.

    The sharpness grade is Good-6.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. Good4. details. Sharpness of a Good 6 but too many small marks to merit a Good6 details. The Details grade is for cleaning in this case.
