If you consider bank boxes circulation yes, a lot. If you consider pocket change, no.

1 in the wild gotten at Chic Filet (sp?) LAX airport. That was a surprise and only because unusually I used cash to buy my son some fast food.
It was the "War in the Pacific" and quite nice, perhaps of MS 65 quality and of course kept it. I then filled in the others with nice quality coins from the BST.

Twenty maybe a few more I've never actually counted them, all found in change except for one that I traded with another forum member for. Many are the Am Memorial coin, and several of the bat coins.

None of which I'm aware. And I do check, including four years ago when I decided I wanted a complete set of state and national parks quarters from circulation, and went through a couple hundred rolls of quarters (found almost every one of the P and D version, but never a W. My unscientific observation is that only Denver coins reliably find their way to Seattle in numbers; I had to get my sister in Maryland to send me a few score rolls of quarters to get most of the Philadelphia versions.

I'm thinking this W thing is unfortunately done. From what I see, the ones being found in circulation are pretty much beat up. I suppose there could still be some mint state rolls at some banks out there.

I found one - it stood out dramatically from the rest of the change I was handed. That was about a year ago and was almost in mint state so I was fortunate.

24 currently. I have found all but the 2019 RNR and the 2020 MBR. 11 of them are 2020 bat quarters.

I believe that @ricko found one in the coinstar before he passed.

I can’t believe I have never found one in change. I probably should have done some searching from banks when they were released.

Yes sir. Found this one in the cash register of my retail Job 4 years ago.

Well, they circulated from the trunk of my car, to my desk, to the coin sorting machine at my credit union (which doesn't charge a fee to deposit loose change - in bulk!) I've found 2 or 3 but tossed 'em in my "miscellaneous" box. I guess I oughta go take a closer look and see if they're worth slabbing.

The distribution of these things apparently didn't go as planned. I believe they were somehow suppose to be evenly distributed throughout the country. That never happened. Some areas of the country got them all, others received nothing.

I found 24 of them in brand new rolls from my grocery store, that was back when the hunt was on. Two of them came back 66 early finds.

    Texas!
I went to the service desk at HEB where they sold me 5 or 6 rolls. After finding a few in those rolls I went back a couple more times until they cut me off. In total maybe 25 rolls so I was at the right place at the right time.

Hmmm, Texas. Okay, thanks. I was initially thinking the north east. Brand new mint rolls. Interesting.

It's way after the fact now but just trying to get a feel for where they were distributed.

Thanks @OAKSTAR for refreshing my mind on how the mint distributed theses quarters. I do recall quite a bit discussed here on the forum, many members not finding one for a couple of years. I think it took Ricko some time as well. I still check my change hoping for one.

I actually sent Ricko a few a couple of years ago before his passing. There was some guy here once, I think his name was Fredo or something. He didn't like other guys and guys like me finding his W quarters! 🤣 😂

That would be me and I sold all but the first one I found which was a Lowell. I had thousands.
