Coin rotated in a small ANACS holder.

I know it's easy to rotate a coin in a PCGS Rattler. But how about a coin turned almost 180 degrees in a small white ANACS holder. Any one had luck straightening one? Did you use the same technique as used for a Rattler. I love the coin but I'm afraid that the OCD in me will get the best of me.

Ohhhh, I thought you were talking about toning or a color change when you said “turned”. I have a number of old ANACS holdered coins, but none of them rotated on me.
If your OCD will get the best of you with the coin turned then simply store the holder at an angle in a custom-made box so that the coin is positioned correctly. Easy-peasy!

Thank you. I edited the title.
I have dozens in small ANACS holders and none of them have ever rotated either.
I've repositioned coins in numerous ANACS small white slabs. Just by holding on the corner and rapping the opposite corner on a hard surface until the coin rotates to where I want it to be.
Or you could label it a 180 degree rotated die, on both sides.
@jedm. I have never needed to do this, but I have made a note of it for future reference, Thank you. James
Might be easier to lose the o.c.d.
Ever had one where it would only rotate in one direction....the long way around? AARGH!

There have been numerous threads on this topic. If tapping the edge on a hard surface doesn't work, some have suggested using vibrations from such devices as an electric toothbrush or BOB (battery operated boyfriend).

I also have done the whack-the-upper-corner technique, on a number of PCGS and NGC slabs, almost always with success. I did it in a large carpeted room, since I expected significant motion in addition to the rotation. It's been a while though, possibly because my photography skills have gotten better and I can enjoy the coins through the photos.

I agree and was going to say something similar, but dang, you did that pretty well!!
