Any thoughts or predictions if the 1926 Sesquicentennial Gold 2.5 dollar will see a spike in pricing in 2026? Similar to what we witnessed with the price increases for the 1921 Peace dollar in 2021? Or if a new Gold dollar will be a product at the US MINT for this anniversary in 2026? It’s interesting how some anniversaries for certain coin see price increases in the market.

I doubt it, it’s not common to think of Sesquicentennials, but would be nice since I own one

I would not count on a spike in demand for these coins based on the anniversary, remember the classic commemorative boom that was going to result from 100 million Americans pulling state quarters out of circulation.
Commems and Early Type
I doubt that we will see any big spikes in price for the Sesquicentennial $2.50. I like the coin a lot, but that is a minority opinion. I remember years ago I mentioned the coin to a well-known Boston dealer, and he made the sign of the cross, like he was warding off a vampire.
These coins are prone to marks on Miss Liberty's body, and most of them have copper spots. I've looked for the "perfect one" for years and never found it. I suppose of I were willing to pay five to ten times the price for a "normal one" I might get something, but I haven't even seen that piece.
Here's mine. The dealer from whom I purchased this piece must of have had 50 of them in stock. I picked this one.
