This was a challenging one to me on the guess the grade on my collect. How is this a MS66+? Just looking for opinions.
Thanks,

Color and luster bumps, not even a 66 from a technical preservation standpoint.
Edited to add, like the Kennedy half that was discussed awhile back this is the type of thing you get when your grading staff is all in with market grading where they price the coin not grade the coin.

Spectacular Specimen!
This toning reminds me of a Franklin I had.

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.Minor color bump I could see but it's not the greatest color either. Just couldn't fathom that grade with the marks on the chin etc.

You're going to sell that to me at melt right? 😆 just kidding. Definitely a pretty Franklin.

It is a bit of a mystery. In a GTG I would have said 63 or maybe 64, as the reverse is nice. Personally I find the color neutral, though I think the color is great on the @joeykoins half.
Looks much much better than the sms Kennedys for sale on the other thread.
The only above average asset I see is the fact that the rim toning is complete on the obv/rev alike. That's not something you see too often. Obviously, something gave it quite a nudge.

This one is a lowly 66. Phil did a great job of hiding the hits.
Those chin area marks are just too big and too attention-getting for me to see it as any better than 64.
Take a look at this one and tell me if that’s a huge scratch on the reverse under the word “America”

Moral of the story is send in your Kennedys now because PCGS is over grading them by a lot?
Look at the chin. If the coin was clean, it would be a 63.
I can't get past the chin cut and the marks on the cheek.
...not only did he take it on the chin, but he got punched in the nose to go along with it.
At best I would grade it as a 65.

Kennedys are my quest...
The one on GC is a 66 at best. Look at the ovals above the eagle, marks on the eagle's shield, marks in the hair, bust, etc. Only a registry person would buy it for the space filler/registry points. Not a good move in my opinion.
You can’t grade from a photo. This one could easily be appropriately graded if the luster is strong.
