Opinions on this dime

BarbercoinBarbercoin Posts: 1,003 ✭✭✭

Had this for some time now and always wanted some others to peak at it and share their opinions. I thought it was quite interesting and unique to me anyway.

How does this happen? Worth anything?

Yes, I know, it’s worth a dime! ;)

Ground down with some kind of grinder or file.

It is damage. Doesn’t really matter how it happened.

Well, I realize there might be more than one factor involved in its condition, I thought it might be a die clip on the edge. I’m not too well versed in errors and PMD.

Looks like PMD IMHO. There are thoughts that if it is PMD, question over - the cause doesn't matter. My thought is if it is damage, knowing a possible cause can prove to be interesting and informative too. I would keep.it, interesting dime.
