Not sure if it’s also a discovery coin. The last pic is of the slab it was in when I first bought it. PCGS downgraded it to a 64. There’s only 15 in the pop; 10 are MS. No RD’s.
@winesteven: you might be right, only because of the 3b. That’s the really rare one; the others are somewhat available. Here’s a pic that shows what makes the 3b distinctive:

Just looked at mine, but not a 69/69
But it does have a die crack that goes from E in states to the date
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
And this is a side portrait of Farouk I... legal owner of one of the most famous US Gold coins ever- the 1933 Saint Gaudens Double Eagle. I thought it worthy of sharing here.

Here is my example of this rare DDO, definitely not an MS64 though. The 2nd known with the terminal die crack. The only reason we can tell its the DDO is the other with the terminal die crack had enough detail to make the attribution. Probably the lowest graded example of an S-4 known.

My only 64. I was looking for a raw AU58, liked this one, and wondered why this coin closed for about a MS64 price.
