Considering two different 8 Reales. 60 years apart and WAY apart in mintage process.
A.
B.
Appreciate feedback.

i like b. it looks more presentable to me as a coin, jmo
I am not a fan of the double strike on the cob. In addition to that Bolivia is less exciting to me then Mexico and the design on the pillar is just incredibly iconic.

I like A - it just screams history!

Too different to choose one over the other.

I like, and collect, history. To me, it's A.
Why is B not history?
Voted B.
Why? Because I'm from Australia.
The "dos mundos" coins are very popular here in Australia not just because they circulated here in ye olde colonial days, but also because these are the first coins to actually acknowledge Australia's existence by showing a map of Australia on them (well, the western half of it, anyway - the eastern half hadn't been discovered yet).

Apparently I have been awarded one DPOTD.

Both are interesting, but I don’t like the cob so much. I think there are nicer cobs in that grade range than this one, the highly offset double strike being the main issue here. So B!
I voted for A- the cob- for the simple reason that I currently do not own one, and I do have a Pillar dollar:
But they’re both cool. I might go for a cob 8-reales in the next year or so (maybe one with a famous shipwreck pedigree). If I can’t afford a gold cob of some kind (which is likely to be the case).
I like coin B. I just like the look.
B, no question, I feel like it’s tougher to get and more attractive
