1916, a year that introduced the the new design of the Mercury Dime, Standing Liberty Quarter and Walking Liberty Half. With so many new coins coming out the pressure from the mint and the opportunity for errors and varieties were pretty high. Let’s see yours from that year. Here are 3 I have.

Fun fact, which I didn't realize for years. The hubs for cents and nickels were redone in 1916 as well.
Here are three of mine, all Buffalos:
16-P = two feather
16-D = 3 1/2 legger
16-S = no F (missing designer initial)

My favorite year—I have none.
It was the year my maternal grandfather was born and he had taught me a lot while I was younger, so ended up collecting all the coinage from that year barring the Barber quarter but they all are in very meh!!! condition ranging from the 1916 D mercury dime in AG3
and Standing Liberty in PO 01 with green bean from CAC.
** Edited to add pics.

Definitely a top 10 year for US coinage. Maybe top 5.

I like this little guy.
If we were all the same, the world would be an incredibly boring place.
